The Casey Mother-of-Pearl Box has a warm/cool interplay on its exterior, as the pale geometric shapes of the shell contrast the warmth of the polished brass trim that runs along the bottom and top of the sides. The honed finish on the mother-of-pearl is a cosmopolitan design detail, as is the fact that the interior has been finished in a pale color to be in sync with the exterior of the white decorative box.
